The satirical consumer affairs television series “That’s Life” starring Esther Rantzen started on the 26^th May 1973 and ran for twenty-one years! At its most popular point the show managed to engage over nineteen million people and had an audience from far and wide. The show fought to get justice for ordinary, hardworking people who had been scammed or ripped off by criminals or even legitimate companies that had not operated fairly or honestly.
