The Grand National Festival is historic and most popular horse racing event for British. This event will take place for three days from 12th April to 14th April 2018.

The first racing event was February of 1839 and the race was 2 laps total of 4 miles with 30 fences to jumped. And the race was won by a horse named lottery and finished the race an almost respectable 5/1.

Since 1839 Grand National has witnessed of great runners over the past decades. The most famous runner was Red Rum. This successful runner take place in record books with three unforgettable victories.

Grand National Betting

The Grand National not only made history but figures a lot of cash too. If we get back to 1866, a man called Edward Studd placed a £1000 bet on a 40/1 horse named Salamander and won £40,000, which is equal to £3 million in today’s world.

Grand National 2018 Events

The Grand National 2018 Festival will take place for three days from 12th April to 14th April. And there will run 7 races each day by consisting of novice hurdles and chases. Being closer of the event you will find all information including betting tips and odds for each race

Day 1, 12th April Grand National Thursday The day offers two G1 races and two G1 races for novices. A unique day of high-class horseracing across a course designed for the best jump racing in the country. It is a day for champions.
Day 2, 13th April Ladies Day Along with top-class racing, competition stakes are raised by the fashionistas on the racing circuit. There’ll be an award for the most stylish and racing features include The Melling Steeple Chase, The Topham Steeple Chase and the Sefton Novices’ Hurdle.
Day 3, 14th April Grand National Day Expect a full day of hurdle and chase racing preceding the major Grand National race, this usually starts at 5.15pm, though can be TV dependent.

 

 

The Grand National 2018 is no doubt one of the most popular horseracing events of the year for British and with huge worldwide exposure. Each day is packed with racing action with bets coming in from across the globe.
