How to take care of the muscles in your back

As we are leading more sedentary lifestyles many people are finding that are experiencing issues with their backs. Sitting at a desk for long periods of time can cause tension and strain to creep into your lower back muscles, your shoulders and your neck. Over time this can become incredibly painful and it is important that you find ways to help look after the muscles in your back.

These stretches will help to prevent your muscles from cramping which can cause pain. By taking a few minutes away from your desk every couple of hours to have a gentle walk around (even just around the office) you will find that you can then return to your desk and adjust your posture to be more comfortable.
