If you’re thinking that it’s time to update the lighting in your home, then here are some songs to provide you with inspiration:

I See The Light – Jackie Evancho

We all need to illuminate our homes, particularly during the winter months when there are less hours of daylight to enjoy. As much as we’d love to bathe our homes in natural light as much as possible, when it gets dark, we need to see what we’re doing! Consider the different types of lights available and how you can best light a room.

Hit The Lights – Metallica

When you’ve got new lighting fixtures, you’ll be wanting to show them off. You’ll be hitting the lights at every opportunity! When installing new stylish lighting fixtures, don’t forget the finishing touch – the Ceiling Rose. Find out more at www.creative-cables.co.uk/2648-ceiling-roses

Blinded By The Light – Bruce Springsteen

Don’t be blinded by your lighting. Try to avoid excessive glare or creating strange shadows with the positioning of your lights. Consider if wall sconces or downlights might provide a softer glow for rooms where you want to relax and watch television, for example.

Lights – Ellie Goulding

There are so many different types to choose from. Wall sconces, spotlights, chandeliers, downlights, uplights, strip lights and table lamps. There is task lighting, accent lighting and ambient lighting. Think about the space and how it’s used before making the right choice.
