The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The wealth of Scottish talent never seems to run dry. This school in Glasgow has given us Robert Caryle of Trainspotting and Bond Villain fame. It’s been going since 1847, so it has a long heritage. It’s a way into the Royal Shakespeare Company, and it has an under 18’s programme.

Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
