  1. Make sure your pages link to each other

Perhaps the blog article has tons of backlinks but another page on your site only has 2. This means a lower page will have a harder time ranking in Google. By connecting more backlinks to a page with a lower rank, it will enjoy something called equity links, allowing for better rankings. Fortunately, you do not need to do it all manually. For example, WordPress has a plugin for the internal linking. For help with professional seo services london, visit a site like https://www.elevateuk.com/seo-services/

  1. Get rid of old non-rated articles

If there are articles on your site that are older than two years and no longer read, then delete them. If you want to keep them, be sure to ‘noindex’ the articles, so that they do not negatively impact the newer, better-related articles.

  1. Know the keywords

Think about the words that people will search for. Every page on your site should be directed to using keywords important to your business. When creating a page for your site, use the best keywords in each post. Google has a tool called Google Keyword Planner who can guide you toward popular keywords to use and how many monthly searches that occur with those words.
