Montefiore Conca is a medieval municipality located in the territory of the province of Rimini, in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. The city is dominated by the Rocca, which dates from the middle of the fourteenth century, but recent archaeological excavations have hypothesized that this complex already existed in the eleventh century. It is said that the majestic fortification was erected by the Malatesta family, a powerful family that dominated the entire territory of Rimini and Pesaro in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.

The town is located in one of the highest hills of the Valconca, which allows a general view of the coast and the entire valley, and within its walls, passing through the Porta Curina, an arch of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, you can see the Town Hall and several medieval houses; the church of San Paolo that keeps a beautiful wooden crucifix from the 14th century; and the church of the Hospital de la Misericordia built around 1470. It is also possible to walk old paths on foot, on horseback or by bicycle.

Soiron is a pretty village in Wallonia surrounded by hills, which surprises with its preserved set of old buildings and whose appearance has changed little for almost three hundred years. It was founded in the year 1005, but, in 1692, it was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake.

Today, this town in Belgium consists of unnamed streets, where beautiful traditional houses of Renaissance style alternate brick, stoneware, and calcareous stone. Most were built in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The oldest is the house of a miner built in 1668 and renovated in 2004.
